Wolfgang Graeser Enfant Prodige Competition

The name of the winner of the “Enfant Prodige” Wolfgang Graeser Award, selected by the Italian Grand Duo, will be announced on May 24, 2024

The Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio of Capri and the Gran Duo Italiano, formed by internationally renowned musicians Maestro Mauro Tortorelli (violinist) and Maestro Angela Meluso (pianist), announce the first 2024 International Wolfgang Graeser “Enfant Prodige” Prize. The Prize aims to showcase the special talents of child prodigy violinists from around the world in memory of the Swiss-German genius Wolfgang Graeser (Zurich, 1906 – Berlin, 1928) violinist, mathematician and researcher to whom we owe the rediscovery and popularization of J. S. Bach’s last work entitled “The Art of Fugue”.
